Polaris Patriot 850 Full Velocity / Powder-lite Instructions

Thank you for purchasing your new muffler from BMP! This muffler has been extensively tested and engineered to provide maximum performance. It is hand-built in our Wisconsin headquarters. After installing the muffler, check all clearances to insure nothing is touching the muffler. Installation of the muffler is as simple as removing the springs from the factory muffler and then placing ours in the sled and respringing the muffler. 

1. Remove the two springs holding the muffler onto the pipe
2. Next on the left side of the muffler, there will be another spring. Remove that spring.
3. Lastly, pull back on the muffler to make room so you can remove the muffler temp sensor and then pull the muffler out from the sled.
4. You are now ready to install your new muffler.
5. Repeat the steps in reverse order starting with tightening the muffler temp sensor back into the muffler. 
6. Respring the remaining springs.
7. You can loosely zip tie the sensor wire so it does not hit the muffler or pull start rope. 
8. Check to make sure the muffler isn’t contacting anything before starting the sled.
